The Great Tudor Debate |

The ESU, in conjunction with Hampton Court Palace, are working together to have a day of debating on one of the greatest periods of British History.
Join us for student led debates on historic topics (based on workshops to be ran by Hampton Court Palace), and a chance to explore Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace. There will be a pre prepared debate on the motion That this house believes Henry was right to divorce Catherine of Aragon, which teams should do some research on in advance of attending.
Schools should arrive by 9.30, and the day will finish by 3.30
There will be places available for 12 schools with teams drawn from 6th Form.
The days events will cost £30, which will cover four students and one teacher.
To apply, complete the attached application form and send it to speech.debate@esu.org
Your application must reach the ESU by Wednesday 16 June.
Successful schools will be notified of their place by Friday 18 June.
